Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder will send a plane of medical supplies to Haiti to help victims of Hurricane Matthew -- and theyll be delivered by two of his players with ties to the island, according to a team spokesman.Receiver Pierre Garcon and defensive end Ricky Jean Francois?-- both of Haitian descent -- will make the trip, senior vice president of communications Tony Wyllie said. Wyllie also will make the one-day trip. He was part of a relief effort Saturday in which Snyders plane was used to deliver supplies to hurricane victims in the Bahamas.Garcon has brought attention to relief efforts for Haiti in the past, notably for victims of an earthquake, which became a topic of discussion for him during the 2010 playoffs. He would display the Haitian flag as a reminder for others to donate. Jean Francois has performed charitable works there, too.Garcon still has family on the island, though he said earlier in the week that all were safe. Garcon said his mother kept him up to date to let him know everyone was safe. But, Garcon said, many werent so lucky. There are believed to be at least 900 dead because of the storm. Many homes were decimated. When it starts to rain, the homes cant withstand just rain, let alone a hurricane, Garcon said. Cheap Air Jordan Australia 2019 .S. New York Giants receiver Victor Cruz said Tuesday that an MRI on his injured right ankle revealed no significant damage.?All good, Cruz told ESPN.Cruz has a low-grade ankle sprain. He may miss matchup Monday with the Cincinnati Bengals, but doesnt believe the injury will be a long-term problem. Its not something that is going to linger and be three or four weeks down the road. This is something that is going to be quick, Cruz said Tuesday during an interview on WFAN Radio. Maybe one game. But Ill definitely be back for the next one at worst. The Giants likely would slide Roger Lewis into a bigger role against the Bengals if Cruz cant play. Lewis caught a 30-yard touchdown pass Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, and was already seeing increased playing time in place of Cruz even before the injury.Cruz hurt the ankle on a 46-yard catch in the second quarter Sunday. He remained in the game for the remainder of the drive, which ended on a 1-yard touchdown reception by Odell Beckham Jr.CCruz was originally listed as probable to return, but after an having an X-ray on the ankle, he was ruled out.ddddddddddddThe immediate plan for the ankle now is for ice, elevation and compression. It is a little sore [Tuesday], not going to lie, Cruz said. But its optimistic. Everything is going in the right direction. Just have to get through this week, get some good days of treatment and see how it feels.Cruz has played in all eight Giants game this season after missing most of the past two years with knee and calf problems. He was playing more than 90 percent of the teams offensive snaps prior to the Week 8 bye. His playing time appeared to be on the decline before the injury. Cruz was on the field for just three of the first eight offensive snaps against the Eagles. The former Pro Bowl receiver has 25 receptions for 377 yards and a touchdown this season. ' ' '
