Hell nick it 7-5.Dave Chisnall v James Wade James Wade will need to throw better darts than this... Last week I remember saying Adrian Lewis would out-score Wade, who would have to hit all his doubles. But Wade was the scorer and Lewis was the finisher. You just dont know what youre going to get from Wade, hes such a good player. Rule him out at your peril.But theres something about Chizzy. Hes got a knack to be mediocre then hit a really big score to turn a leg around.Last week Wade had nine darts to nick a point but couldnt. That might bother him. I think Chizzy is the better scorer and Wade wont score as well as he did last week.Prediction: Im going to go for Chizzy on the basis that Wade doesnt take out many ton-pluses (which he can do).Robert Thornton v Gary Anderson Gary Anderson is getting into the swing of things, Mardle thinks Playing Anderson is not the problem - Thornton just isnt playing well enough. There was a point in last years Premier League Darts when Kim Huybrechts was bottom but was getting 100 averages. Thornton isnt playing like that, so youre thinking theres no hope. Obviously if hes got the same attitude as me, hes got no chance!I just dont think Thornton is playing anywhere near well enough to deal with Anderson. Hes the world champ for a reason. Thornton can be a spoiler, he can pull off a shock - he beat Michael van Gerwen in the World Grand Prix final. Michael will obviously play well although he wont average 123 again - it might be higher!
